Position Overview

Perform a wide variety of administrative and leasing duties to ensure first class facilities are provided to all customers. The primary tasks include responding to leasing inquiries, showing vacant suites, processing rental applications and assisting in the resident retention process at the property.

Key Responsibilities

*Greet and qualify customers on the phone or in person with the view that the end result will be a new resident.
***Answer phone calls, and respond to email and walk-in rental enquiries.
*Process applications for prospective residents — ensure credit information, landlord and employer references are correct and complete.
*Schedule and complete suite showings with prospective residents.
Prepare move-in files and ensure all appropriate documents, cards and keys are enclosed.
*Schedule and complete move-in and move-out inspections with residents.
*Record or assist property maintenance
*Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
*Ensure signage is properly displayed and property aesthetics are in good order.
*Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act in all procedures.
*Execute all work in a safe, professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.
*Reports to Managing broker.
*Other duties as assigned by the Managing broker.
*Be a team player.

Working hours

Must be able to work flexible hours and weekends- Commission and Salary

Qualifications

Must be able to speak English fluently
Cantonese are assets but not required
Must have a valid BC driver license and own a vehicle
Good presentation and customer service skills
Must be able to lift up 30 lb.
