WHAT’S HAPPENING IN CALGARY? 📊

As we head into fall, Calgary continues to offer buyers more choice and negotiating room than we’ve seen in recent years. While activity remains steady, higher inventory and longer days on market mean sellers need to be increasingly strategic with pricing, presentation and marketing.

CREB® is reporting that conditions vary significantly by property type. Detached and semi-detached homes remain generally balanced, while higher inventory in the condo market continues to favour buyers and put downward pressure on prices. (creb.com⁠)

🍂 LOOKING AHEAD TO FALL: We could see the typical seasonal slowdown as we move through September and October. For sellers, getting ahead of the competition with the right pricing strategy will be important. For buyers, increased selection may create some great opportunities to negotiate.
