It’s funny how the world comes around in circles :) Back in 2016 I worked at Sunglass Hut Chinook. Deanna was the store manager at the time and we always got along just great! We’ve always remained friends and kept in touch. Fast Forward 10 years later, Deanna calls me one fine day and says, “Hey can you help my mom buy a house?”
She had met with another realtor prior to talking to me, but the realtor had refused to work with her since she didn’t have a pre-approval in place. Doesn’t make a difference to me. A friend asked for help, does anything else matter?
My client was actually buying a property to help her other daughter (such a big heart this cute little lady has, I must tell you!) We took a look at a few houses but nothing was fitting either our budget or criteria and surprisingly anything that was disappeared overnight. I told her not to get overwhelmed and be patient with me since when the time is right we will find the one that’s meant to be.
Sure enough, within a month we saw one that had just hit the market. Interestingly enough, the house right next door was for sale as well, but in much more worse condition, one less washroom and HIGHER PRICED! The neighbours that bought the house next door actually came out and said you got a way better deal than ours! We saw the property, liked it, put through our offer and provided a quick turnaround for the sellers and got the ball rolling. We literally were able to remove conditions an hour before the deadline!
Yesterday we took possession on this beautiful 4 bedroom & 3 Bath renovated home in Mckenzie towne. The best part of the deal I negotiated a 75” TV and electric fireplace into the deal to make it even sweeter ;) All for under $500k.
Deanna came to join the celebrations for one big wholesome family moment!
