Everyone thinks it’s all about being able to sell.
But what does it mean to SELL?
It’s one word: negotiation.
And it’s the one thing you’ll almost never see on Instagram.
What you do see is the pretty stuff…
😍 The photos, the reels, the “just listed” and the SOLD celebrations.
What you don’t see is everything happening behind the scenes…
* Conversations before we even go live.
* Strategy talks around pricing so we don’t sit and chase the market.
* Guidance on what actually matters when prepping a home (and what’s just noise).
* Tone during inspections.
* The back and forth between agents when things get… let’s just say… “interesting.”
That’s where deals are made or broken.
And negotiation isn’t always pushing.
Sometimes it’s collaborating.
Sometimes it’s holding firm and not budging an inch.
♟️ Knowing the difference? That’s the skill.
You don’t just wake up good at it. It takes reps. It takes practice and sometimes a lot of patience.
It also takes learning from people like Chris Voss… and the toughest negotiations? Sometimes with your own family (arguably the toughest training ground there is 😂).
