25 years ago, we created the Orin Reid Memorial Golf Tournament in memory of our founder, Orin Reid. Orin was a man who believed in community and giving back. What began as a tribute has grown into a lasting legacy, raising more than $1.6 million for charities, hospitals and causes.

Every community starts with a strong foundation. Ours begins with our people.

Our annual Summer BBQ is one of our favourite traditions, bringing our team together to celebrate the incredible people behind Reid's Heritage Homes. Their hard work, collaboration, and commitment shape not only the homes we build, but the culture we're proud to be part of.

We build homes together, but along the way, we've built something even greater: a team that supports one another through every challenge, every milestone, and every success.

Strong communities start with strong teams.

Our annual Summer BBQ brought our team together from across Southern Ontario to celebrate the people who make Reid’s Heritage Homes what it is. Our strength comes from the collaboration, support, and commitment our team brings each and everyday.

Building homes is what we do, but building a team that stands together through every milestone and challenge is what drives us forward. A special thank you to our President, Ron McMillan, for sharing a few words about the importance of our people and the culture we continue to build together.

You could say we're addicted to progress.

From completed exteriors and fresh landscaping underway, to new occupancies and homes entering the finishing stages. Each block at Argyle Village is moving forward and bringing this vibrant new community closer to completion.

Check out the latest updates below:

Block F – Landscaping is underway and exterior construction is complete.
Block E – Occupancies have begun.
Block D – Pre-Delivery Inspections begin next week, with occupancies starting in late June. Exterior construction is nearing completion.
Block C – Insulation and drywall are nearing completion, while countertops and flooring are now underway. Exterior siding continues to progress.
Block B – Rough-in mechanical trades have begun, with siding set to start by late June.
Block A – Masonry is nearly complete, paving the way for mechanical rough-ins.

None of this would be possible without the dedication, craftsmanship, and hard work of our site teams and trade partners, who continue to bring our communities to life.

Today, on Customer Appreciation Day, we want to take a moment to thank the homeowners who have trusted us to be part of one of life’s biggest milestones.

Every home tells a story, and we’re incredibly grateful to the families who have allowed us to be part of theirs. From first walkthroughs to move-in day and everything in between, it’s been a privilege to help create places where memories are made and life unfolds.

The team on site have been busy across all blocks at Argyle Village, in Guelph. 👷
Here's a quick overview of what's been happening:

Block A: Framing is finishing up.
Block B: Shingling is complete and ready to begin rough-ins.
Block C: Basement concrete is poured and ready to start rough-ins.
Block D: Currently in rough-in stages.
Block E: Drywall is almost complete; finishes have started.
Block F: Landscaping will be underway in May, with an exciting announcement coming soon.
