After 30+ years in Real Estate I can truly say I am still LOVING it! Comox Valley/Campbell River ❤️ I would know I've worked with many over the years.

Born and raised in the Comox Valley, is like coming full-circle home again. I was first licensed as a REALTOR®️ in Vancouver in 1990 and in early 2000 moved my business to WHISTLER BC, where I soon became a License Broker for The Whistler Real Estate Company, a position I adored. Part of my journey has been spent helping other real estate professionals become their very best in the industry, through professional conduct, contract writing and marketing resort real estate. Proudly I can say I was the first VOLUNTEER for the 2010 Winter Olympics (Paralympic) Games starting my first volunteer shift in January of 2001 while pregnant with my daughter TASHI and staying right up until after the Games. Many wouldn’t know that I was the creative mind behind the Whistler Arts Council fund raising event “Whistler It’s Our Future” … “RESERVED” with John Ryan a fund-raising initiative for Spinal Cord Research and “The View from Here” an economic summit on Real Estate held in Whistler BC. In early 2009 when the real estate industry was adversely affected by the downturn in the economy I founded a second business “KEEP IT SIMPLE SOCIAL MEDIA”
As a social media maven, I have earned the elusive GURU status from Facebook for my marketing prowess and reputation for successful Facebook/Instagram advertising campaigns.

The Driftwood Marine Park Trail is a scenic, well-defined path that winds through Driftwood Park (often referred to as Driftwood Marine Park).
Running along Clarkson Avenue and Driftwood Road in the Saratoga Beach area of Vancouver Island, this multi-use trail serves as a vital community connector linking local residential areas directly with Miracle Beach Provincial Park.
Managed by the Comox Valley Regional District, the active trail system features bike-friendly bridges, a statutory right-of-way that links seamlessly to Driftwood Road, and built-in bat houses designed to naturally manage the local mosquito population.
The short, easy route is ideal for walking, cycling, birding, and nature appreciation, showcasing two beautiful and distinct ecosystems: a second-growth Douglas-fir forest and a brackish salt marsh.
Visitors can take advantage of a dedicated wildlife viewing platform that overlooks the intertidal marsh, though dogs must be kept strictly on-leash while near the platform.
While the rest of the park permits optional leashing for well-controlled dogs, the trail remains a quiet, peaceful sanctuary reserved exclusively for foot traffic and cyclists—horses are not permitted.

💖🎉 Another trip around the sun—and I’m feeling incredibly grateful for this beautiful, busy, sometimes wonderfully messy life. 💖🎉

I’m thankful for my family, my friends, my clients, my colleagues, and every person who has supported me, encouraged me, trusted me and shared a laugh with me along the way. Life moves quickly, and birthdays are a lovely reminder to pause, look around and appreciate just how fortunate we truly are.

I don’t take any of it for granted—the work I love, the community I call home, the adventures still ahead, and the people who make the journey so worthwhile.

Today, I’m celebrating with a full heart, plenty of laughter and absolutely no concern for how many calories are hiding in the birthday cake. At my age, we don’t count candles or calories—we count blessings! 🥂💖

Three things I love ❤️ about working with my husband—also known in my business as …
although, for the record, he does absolutely NO admin. 😂

First, if the world 🌍 ever goes to hell in a handbasket, I know I’ll be just fine.
My “sniper man” has the skills, determination and protective nature to keep me alive—and probably well fed, too.

2. I’m not bragging, but Norm can do absolutely anything he puts his mind to. He is capable, resourceful and endlessly determined.
If something needs fixing, building, solving or figuring out, he’s your guy.
3. This goes right back to when we were getting married.
I told Norm that keeping my maiden name was important to me, and without hesitation, he said that was perfectly okay.
He has always respected who I am—strong opinions, independent streak and all—and has never asked me to make myself smaller.

Now, what do I “hate” about him? Honestly, I don’t like the word hate—it’s far too strong, and there is nothing I truly hate about Norm.
Although it is incredibly annoying that he refuses to yell 😡when we argue. How am I supposed to properly carry on when he insists on being calm and reasonable?
And then there’s his most unforgivable habit: leaving the wet soap 🛀sitting in the shower.
Apparently, even the world’s most capable man has his limits.

Marriage is love, laughter, partnership and occasionally moving someone else’s soggy bar of soap.
I wouldn’t trade my for anyone. ❤️
