Let’s look at the inventory specifically for detached, single family homes (SFD) in Campbell River

The largest subsets are homes between 500-750k and 750k-1.0M, which make up 59% of the market’s total inventory. No surprise there.

That being said, we are also seeing quite a few options in the 1.0M+ categories.

The majority of homes $1.25M+ are built before 2000 and provide an interesting mix of renovated and original construction.

58 of the total SFD have some sort of suite, either fully enclosed or in-law.

In this market, there seems to be more desire from buyers to have a suite as a mortgage helper. It’s nice to see there are some options out there.

This listing was a book all to its self. My seller was not local, so boots on the ground was a necessity. I facilitated furniture and old appliance removal, cleaning, painting, and new flooring install.

I made friends with members of the strata council, and was actually asked to share my knowledge and provide industry insight via a letter that was presented at one of their AGMs.

We received numerous low ball cash offers from buyers and investors who tried to tell me my pricing was out to lunch (always love that), 3 accepted offers that fell through, including one time clause, all before landing on an accepted offer in multiples for ASKING PRICE!! This unit also sold for more than a similar unit that sold a month earlier (where I also represented the buyer hehe).

Guys, when I tell you I take every transaction seriously, know that it’s true. Research, strategy, negotiation, support, guidance, clear communication, it is all super important to me.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been a go getter, sassy, independent, stubborn, and had a very strong sense of self. My mom used to say I was “in there like a dirty shirt”.

Tom boy, yes, girly girl, also yes. The boys can do it? So can I. I have a very vivid memory of playing football in a park with all the “big kids” and taking a football right to the face. Got a nose bleed, but wanted to keep playing.

It feels so rewarding to be building a brand that is authentic, true to my values, and evolving every day.

I know that little girl would be proud of me, but she also wouldn’t be surprised 🤍
