South Shore Landing Inc. The Thorbjornsson Family is proud to lead the project of the development and preservation of The Hawthorne Mill and surrounding buildings.

On this page we will keep you all updated on our progress, share pictures and our plans once they are completed. We are committed to the re-development of what is best known as the DRS complex and the preservation of the history of the site, especially the old Hawthorn Mill stone building. We had a photography class come to the Hawthorne Mill and they did an absolutely amazing job using the theme 'War on Gotham 2019' where they portray several DC Villains. You can check out the photos at this website!
