10km for the Calgary Marathon ✅
I genuinely don’t know if words can fully capture what this morning felt like. The energy, the people, the atmosphere, the encouragement from complete strangers it was electrifying in the most beautiful way possible.
Back in January, this started as a Misogi goal. Just a challenge to prove to myself that I could do hard things. But somewhere along the way, running became so much more than distance or pace. It became discipline. Therapy. Confidence. Growth. A reminder that we’re capable of transforming ourselves one small step at a time.
Today felt like a celebration of that transformation.
I’m incredibly grateful for every early morning, every difficult run, every moment I wanted to quit but kept moving anyway. Those moments changed me.
And honestly… I’m really proud of the person I’m becoming.
A massive thank you to my beautiful run club girls ❤️ You girls have made this journey so special, and I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such strong, inspiring, supportive women.
And to Travis and his brother Kyle you guys were incredible. I feel so blessed to have been able to run alongside you both today. Your energy, encouragement, and support throughout this journey meant more to me than you know. I appreciate you guys so much.
Also, thank you to everyone who reached out today through phone calls, FaceTimes, text messages, DMs, and words of encouragement. The love and support I felt today was overwhelming in the best way possible, and it truly meant the world to me. Having people in your corner cheering you on is something I’ll never take for granted ❤️
Huge thank you as well to all the volunteers, police, medics, organizers, and every single person who showed up and brought the energy today. You made this experience unforgettable.
Good luck to everyone running the half and full marathon tomorrow go crush it 👊🏃♂️
