WE LOVE STARTING NEW HOMES!! (Read caption)

Excavation day is always a milestone! We got through Pre Construction planning & design leading up to this point... Which can feel like forever, and then the shovel meets the dirt.

⛱️☀️ Building a home is like planning a vacation; ust a hell of a lot more fun, less stress too we promise..

⛱️☀️ Building a home is like planning a vacation, you plan, and plan, and change plans, and argue a bit, then finalize, then you wait.... then, the excavation starts.. which is when it's like boarding the plane, sitting in your seat and realizing... Holy s**t we are really doing this thing!!!

Pre-Possession Day 👀🔑

Pre-possession day is one of our favourite milestones in the build.
This walkthrough happens about 1–3 weeks before possession and gives homeowners their first real chance to experience their home as a finished space. ✨

Together, we walk through the entire house room by room, reviewing finishes, systems, and details, answering questions, and making sure everything meets both expectations and new-home standards.

It’s also the time where we note any final touch-ups or deficiencies so they can be addressed before keys are handed over. No rushing, no surprises, just a transparent and thorough walkthrough so everyone feels confident and excited heading into possession day, the Tanrock Way. No surprises. No secrets.

For us, pre-possession isn’t just a formality. It’s part of delivering a smooth, stress-free experience and making sure your home is truly ready for you.
