What an amazing 2 days in TO. Huge thanks to Richard Robbin’s and the Masters Academy for opening my eyes and mind to what this career in real estate can hold.

It’s stimulated my mind, and helped me come up with a marketing plan, how to develop a lifelong client referral system, resources to use to better my presentations, and most importantly for you guys, gifts.

Ironically this book Gift-ology was gifted to me at the end of the conference, because I am not a gift giver, it’s not my language.. thanks to Alana from Cutco for opening my eyes. Half way through this book I feel like spending half of what I earned this year on gifts 😊 - more to come on what I learned when I’m done.

Finally thanks to my new friend Carolynn for getting me out of my shell, a room full of 1,000 successful realtors can be intimidating at your first conference, but you made it easy. If anyone’s looking in Oakville…

What are some of the biggest issues in relationships? Communication and money. My clients and I are going to have a close relationship during their transaction and of course I’m going to do my best to get them the best deal for that property.

I strive to be open, honest, and talk to you a tonne during the transaction. Any questions that you have, I WANT you to ask them. I want to get to the point where I know you so well I know what you’re thinking so that I can best represent you to the other party.

If you text me back I reply as soon as possible. If you call me I answer or call you back as soon as possible.

As many of you know, I love (most) people, I especially love my friends. In my first two transactions I loved using real estate as having a reason to hang out more, chat, get to know then better and accomplish something big together.

Good communication is a core value of and I will be asking every one of my clients throughout, and after - how am I doing in terms of communication. Anything less than 5 stars is room for improvement.

I want to build a referral based business, as much as I would love to have my face up there on a big billboard advertising my services.. I wouldn’t.

From my background in primary care I know the most important relationship is trust, and “do you like this person”. If you do with your provider that’s called a therapeutic alliance.. if you don’t have that, that persons walking out of their appointment saying I just wasted an hour of my time.

My goal is 100% satisfaction with my clients. I will do whatever I can for you on either end of the transaction, and if I don’t know the answer I’ll tell you and will have it in a few hours.

I don’t just want your business. I want to do such a good job for you that you want to refer all your family and friends to me.
