I hope you’re enjoying this weather we’re having and that you’re successfully navigating your way through all the road construction happening in the city. I’ve witnessed many close calls recently because of the confusing lane changes!
In real estate news, after the announcement of the increased interest rates, the market generally went into a holding pattern but it’s beginning to show signs of increased activity again-although it’s making a shift from a Seller’s market to a Balanced one.
There are various pockets in the greater Edmonton area, however, where homes are still selling exceptionally fast with multiple offers being written on them.
The majority of clients that I’m currently working with are buyers looking to secure a home before their guaranteed interest rate expires, buyers moving to Alberta from other provinces and homeowners who are making a move from their existing home to one that suits them better.
