Yesterday we said goodbye to our Lolo Johnny. He was fiercely independent and an avid fisherman. This January we had the immense privilege of celebrating his 100th birthday. I heard a story this week about this one time he was ice fishing in Wabamun. He fell through the ice and managed to get himself out. Then decided it would be best to strip naked and drive home. Only to get pulled over and have to explain himself to the cops. 🎣
