Grateful ti have opportunities like this to serve our communities.

This morning, our team had a wonderful opportunity to volunteer with our friends at the Edmonton's Food Bank

From sorting food to packing orders and lifting food bins, it was a great experience to be part of a community that feeds so many.

Until next time. ☺️

🐶🥾☔ While some people love to play in the rain, I prefer to show homes in it.

With the amount of rain we've had this weekend, buyers have been handed a golden opportunity. 🌧️🏡

Sure, sunny days are great for admiring curb appeal, but a good rainstorm? That's when a home starts revealing some of its secrets. 👀

💦 Does water drain away from the house?
💦 Are the eavestroughs keeping up?
💦 Does the yard turn into a pond?
💦 Are there any clues that moisture might be finding its way where it shouldn't?

After 30 years in real estate, I've learned that some of the most valuable information about a property shows up when the weather doesn't cooperate. ☔

So while many buyers are waiting for blue skies, savvy buyers are pulling on their boots and taking a closer look. 🥾🐾

As for Socrates? He'll happily splash through a puddle or two for the sake of real estate research. 🐶🔍🌧️

If you're house hunting this week, don't curse the rain—use it to your advantage.

Because sometimes the best day to view a home is the day everyone else stays inside. ☔🏡✨

📻 If you missed my Expert Minute on Monday on 105.9 Shine FM, I’ve taken a deeper look at this topic in my latest blog: Estate Sales – Selling the Family Home.

Selling a family home is never just about real estate… it’s about a lifetime of memories. It’s the home where life unfolded—first steps down the hallway, family meals that carried on long after the dishes were cleared, holidays gathered around the table, and the quiet everyday moments that only a home like this can hold.

When it comes time to sell, the process is often layered with emotion, responsibility, and important decisions that families don’t always expect to face all at once. That’s why having experienced guidance matters—not just for the sale, but for the transition.

In this blog, I walk through key parts of that journey:

✨ Staging with Heart – How to gently prepare a well-loved, often dated family home so buyers can see its warmth, potential, and story—without losing its character.

⚖️ Understanding Probate – What executors need to know about timelines, responsibilities, and working through the legal steps that allow a home to be sold.

🛠️ Permits, Warranties and Disclosures – How executors, who may not have full knowledge of the home’s history, can navigate the sale responsibly while helping limit liability and keeping the transaction clear and transparent.

💛 Saying Goodbye – The emotional side of letting go, and how families can take the time they need to honour memories while still moving forward into the next chapter.

Let faith arise this Easter ✨

Easter has always been my absolute favourite day of the year 🤍 It brings with it a renewed sense of faith, a spirit of unconditional love for one another, and a quiet, steady hope for the future 🕊️

It’s a reminder that no matter what season we’ve been through, we can move forward with peace and confidence — grounded in the belief that we are forgiven and deeply loved 💛

Wishing you a beautiful Easter filled with light, reflection, and a renewed sense of hope 🌷✨

Today, over 2.4 billion Christians around the world pause to honour Good Friday.✝️

It’s a reminder of sacrifice, of love that shows up when it’s hardest, and of forgiveness, even when it’s not easy.

And maybe most importantly, it’s a reminder that even in our darkest moments, we are not alone. We are loved, we are forgiven, and whatever pain we’re walking through, it won’t last forever.💛

Hope comes in the morning. So, while we sit in the heaviness of Friday, we also hold onto faith and hope for what’s ahead… because we know Sunday will come.🌼

Wishing you quiet moments of peace and reflection as we move through this Good Friday.🕊️

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16 ✝️🕊️💛🌼

Thank you to the REALTORS' Community Foundation for giving Edmonton REALTORS® the chance to spend some time giving back yesterday at the Edmonton Food Bank. 💛

The Edmonton Food Bank does such important work in our city, supporting families week in and week out with the basics they need, and doing it with so much care behind the scenes. 🤝

Every time I volunteer there, it really puts things into perspective. Yesterday was especially tough. We were struggling to fill boxes because so many staple items just weren’t there. Things like bread, cereal, pasta sauce, even toilet paper… the everyday basics. Too many hampers went without, which is hard to see, because those are the things that help a household feel a little more normal for the week ahead. 🧻🍞🥣🍝

If you’re looking for a simple way to help, the Edmonton Food Bank accepts food donations at 📍11508 120 St NW, Edmonton. Even a few items can make a real difference right now. 🤝📦

Very grateful to both the REALTORS' Community Foundation and the Edmonton Food Bank for continuing to give us these opportunities to show up and help, even in a small way, one box at a time. 📦
