Past Success is not necessarily an indicator of Future performance, but how else do you select the best agent to work with? I went to Hardisty jr high and McNalley Composite high before attending the University of Alberta. To provide an income during that time I had the world's best part time job, playing in a Rock Band on weekends! As you can imagine the decision making process of the very young
adult mind during the late 70's, I decided to follow that career path, and during the following 15 years I was a musician, comedian, children's entertainer, actor and talent agent. Tiring of the road, limited pay and the arrival of my first child, I decided that a change was in the stars. After a little soul searching and urging from my buddy, Danny Hooper (already in the biz), I embarked on a new career in Real Estate in 1992. Now, with three adult children and many more years under my belt, I find I have much life experience to draw upon. I have learned that people are Real Estate, not houses, condos and land. That clients want information, not pressure, and the only way to succeed at anything is with the constant application of effort, integrity and to never stop learning. Now I ski, play hockey, cut the grass, compulsively rennovate and look for a purpose (now that my kids don't need anything from me but money ). They tell me they are going to inscribe "He thought he was funny" on my headstone...nice. To think, 30 years ago I thought I was going to be a Rock Star........
