Getting my build back on track out back, converting my first build into a breeding setup for my chickens.

Should be out back in my new space by the weekend and will finish the interior while doing so.

We have been getting some really nice weather and I believe the signs of early spring have been upon us and I’m looking forward to the new year in my new home and just getting finished.

Hoping for a change of job as well.

My life has been crazy but enjoyable while it’s been so me of the coldest winters we have had in a while.

Been keeping busy incubating and hatching some new chickens.

Get back to building when this cold snap dies down.

So busy working these past few months and having no time to build and this cold snap we have been having before winter has even set in has put a damper on doing things around here.

Still have yet to wire up my new tiny home, also missing a few more batteries and proper inverter for my power setup.

Insulation is nearly done, few odds and ends to do. Then up going vapour barrier once wiring is installed and then time for wall panels.

My focus for new year, weather it’s cold or not is getting my tiny home in order and having a proper space to live in.

Wiring up the tiny home this week and hopefully picking up my last missing piece to tie it all together for my solar. My goal is to run solely off the suns rays. I’m very conscious of my energy use and needs. I’ve lived on less than the average single person household.

Loving this life and will love it even more when I have my own piece of property to call home and do it all till I leave this earth.

Started insulating the new build today and found a really great floor plan that will give me plenty of space for everything and that extra loft space for storage or maybe a small office space if it works.

So many ideas and so little time before winter comes.

Starting the electrical next week or two and looking into a grid-tie inverter to set myself on solar.

So close to being fully off grid.
Recently splurged on some solar gear to get things started. Needing more battery for backup and to make sure I got enough to run daily.

It's been a learning curve, but cool seeing the setup unfold
