General Questions.
1 - Will the cast hurt, and how is it done ?? No, the casting process will not hurt the mixture is flexible and forms around the hand or foot. The hand or foot slides out easily once the mixture has set with little residue.
2 - Is the mixture safe?? Yes, it is a non-toxic biodegradable powder (that turns to gel)
it is seaweed-based and is very commonly used by dentists.

o you do the whole process?? I do everything from prep to cleanup myself the only thing that is not done by me is making the frame your casts come in. (yet, custom frames are on my to do list)
4 - Where are the casts done?? Everything is done at my house in Moonriver Estates, this is located about 15 mins west of Lethbridge and about 15 mins east of Fort Macleod. please contact me directly for complete address and directions.
5 - How long is my child’s hand in the mixture for?? roughly about 1 to 3 minutes, Some people ask if it matter that the baby moves? absolutely not the mixture is flexible enough that it sets around the hand and forms whatever position the child’s hand is in (that is why everyone one is unique)
6 - How long should i plan to be at your house? Please allow up to 1 hour once you get here. possibly longer depending on how many casts we are doing in the session. I will have everything pre measured and ready to be mixed prior to being here so we can be as quick as possible.
7 - What should i do to prepare? Please have child’s finger nails and toenails nice and trimmed so we don’t end up with a snag or unwanted imprint in the cast. Also please wear something you wont mind getting a little dirty (please don’t be scared as everything washes out, I just don’t want to have expansive clothes getting dirty)
8 - Can I bring my other children? Yes, you are able to bring your older children as long as they are able to help clean up after themselves with all the toys that are played with. My 2 boys will also be here.
9 - When must i pay for my order
The same day you are here. Everything is non returnable and is a final sale.
10 - What if the cast doesn't turn out or there is a flaw? There is a slight chance the cast might not turn out perfect i will be happy to redo the casting at no extra charge to you, You will need to book a new appt. ( I will get you in as soon as possible, and make you a first priority)
