Your first home in Grande Prairie doesn't have to be your forever home. 🔑

I’m always grateful when a client comes to me through a referral, and this one was no exception.

When we met, this property had already spent 165+ days on the market with two different agents and brokerages without selling.

That immediately caught my attention. We’d been in a very active market with less than two months of inventory, and even through the spring market madness, this home hadn’t sold. To me, that was a big red flag that we needed to take a closer look at the strategy.

I prepared a detailed market analysis and we had an honest conversation about price. I spent 45+ minutes walking through it with him, page by page, explaining what the market was telling us and why.

It wasn’t necessarily the number he wanted to hear, but now he understood it — and we put the plan into action.

SOLD. 🔑

Afterward, he told me he wished someone had taken the time to explain it all to him sooner because he felt he could have been out of Grande Prairie a lot earlier.

That really stuck with me.

My client and I met in elementary school here in GP. We grew up going to school together, became moms just a month apart, and now I got to help her and her family through their 2nd big move.

They were ready for more space and wanted to move closer to their preferred school. They called me to help them sell their current home and find the next one, and I am so grateful they did.

This was definitely not the easiest road. We had multiple deals fall apart, had to move quickly when opportunities came up, and then had those fall apart too. With the clock ticking and the pressure on, it took a lot of problem solving, flexibility, perseverance and teamwork to keep things moving. My clients stuck with it, trusted me and stayed open through every pivot.

I am SO happy to say...
They are officially SOLD and moving on to a home that fits, in the area they love, with more space for the kids to grow, play and make a whole lot of memories.

This truly was a team effort, and I am so thankful for everyone who helped us get across the finish line.

A young family came to me through a corporate relocation with eXp Realty, and while their home search may have had a few more twists and turns than usual, it gave me something I’m incredibly grateful for; time to really get to know them.
A young couple, new parents and a little guy just a few months old, suddenly uprooting their new little family and moving to Grande Prairie for a work transfer. That’s a BIG life change on its own… and then add a few failed deals into the mix. 😅
We had an offer bumped, then another deal where the sellers weren’t able to fulfill their condition. None of it was my clients’ fault, and there wasn’t anything they could do to change the outcome — but it meant pivoting, adjusting expectations, starting over and making multiple trips to GP with a baby in tow.
And these two? Absolute troopers.
They handled every curveball with so much patience, resilience and openness. They kept showing up, kept moving forward and trusted that the right house would eventually come together.
And it DID. 🥹
We can finally officially say SOLD! 🎉
They found the cutest four-level split that has been so lovingly cared for by the same owners for many, many years. It has so much warmth and character, and honestly, after everything it took to get here, I really think it worked out exactly the way it was supposed to.
I’m SO excited to welcome this little family to Grande Prairie this fall and watch them settle into this next chapter. 🤍
And selfishly… I’m also going to miss my regular dose of baby snuggles while house shopping. 🥹

These sweet young clients came to me from BC, referred by another real estate professional and a family member, and I’m so grateful they did.
They’re making the move to Grande Prairie for more opportunity and a new chapter for their growing family, and finding the right home was about more than just four walls.
They wanted home. A yard for their little one to grow and play in. A garage to actually park in. Space to enjoy, gather and host. But they also wanted to be smart about the purchase and have the opportunity to offset some of their costs.
So we looked at it all — single-family homes, up/down properties, duplexes, suites… and plenty of houses in between. 😅
