Canada Day in Washago was one for the books! 🇨🇦

As a proud member of the Washago Events Committee, we thought it would be a wonderful addition to our annual Canada Day celebrations to bring the vendors market to life—and seeing it come to life was incredibly rewarding. ❤️

A huge thank you to the amazing Washago Events Committee for all the hard work that goes into organizing both our Christmas Parade and our Canada Day Parade each year. These events don't happen without countless volunteers who dedicate their time to making our community such a special place to live.

Seeing the streets filled with red and white, local businesses, talented vendors, and so many smiling faces was definitely a highlight of my summer so far. ☀️ From the parade to the live music and all the festivities throughout the day, Washago was full of community spirit.

Thank you to every vendor who participated despite the record high temperature, everyone who stopped by to shop local, and all the volunteers who helped make the day such a success. Supporting one another is what makes our community so special, and I'm already looking forward to next year! 🇨🇦
