Hamilton holds a special place in my heart – it's where I call home. Raised on the central mountain, I'm a true Hamiltonian through and through. Back in my youth, you'd often find me outdoors, exploring every corner of this vibrant city with my friends. ked up every bit of what Hamilton had to offer. My roots here run deep, having attended local schools like Franklin Road, Burkholder, Barton, and Sherwood before pursuing further education at Mohawk College. It was during my college years that I met my husband, also a proud Hamiltonian. After graduating with honors, we wasted no time in starting our life together, beginning with the purchase of our first home in the heart of the central Hamilton Mountain – the very area where I grew up. Not long after settling into our new home, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter. Shortly thereafter, I embarked on my career journey alongside my dad, the great Jim Pauls (though I may be a tad biased). Starting from the ground up in the real estate industry, I gained invaluable experience and knowledge, mastering everything from contracts to negotiations. Eventually, my passion led me to become a licensed real estate agent in early 2007, and my family and I relocated to a lovely home on the Stoney Creek Mountain. It's been over 18 years in the world of Real Estate and I have to say, I wouldn't change a thing. It's been a rewarding journey, helping countless families navigate the buying and selling process while forging lasting connections and friendships. There's still plenty more I could share, but I'll save that for our eventual meeting in person!

After almost 20 years of showing homes, I can honestly say this job is never boring.

Over the years I have:

• gotten electrocuted trying to turn on a basement light
• stepped in cat p**p
• accidentally walked into the wrong apartment unit
• pointed out that a wall looked wet… and put my finger straight through the drywall
• walked straight into a patio screen
• startled someone who was sleeping in bed

Real estate has its moments.

This one was worth the wait.

My clients had a strict budget and were focused on a very specific neighbourhood, which made things a bit more challenging. We stayed patient, watched every new listing that came out, and passed on quite a few that just weren’t the right fit.

We did go up against competition once and didn’t get it. But I always say, when that happens, something better usually comes along.

And it did.

We found this home on a great street, at a price that made sense, and with a closing date that worked perfectly for them.

No rushing. No settling. Just the right house at the right time.

If you’re feeling discouraged in your search, don’t panic. The right one is out there, and having a plan makes all the difference.
