I recently completed a five and a half day almost dry fast. In other words, no food at all for 5.5 days and just enough water as needed.
Before you try this, and especially if you take pills or have a medical condition- check with your health care provider first.

Some key things that help when fasting are;
1) have stuff to do - its surprising how much time is freed up when we don’t eat.
2) watch videos from Dr. Berg for lots of insights and guidance
3) the feelings of hunger will disappear - it may take an hour or two once in awhile - but a sip of water can help.
4) with every record you set for yourself, it makes it easier for longer fasts.

It’s not good to torture yourself with this. It should be fun and it’s a personal challenge.

I lost 13 lbs in those 5.5 days and plan to do two more similar fasts - one each month- so I get to my optimum weight.

You’ll love the feeling of success - the mental clarity- the new energy- and the many health benefits you gain.

Some people start with a 12-18 hour fast.
Then, with experience, they try longer periods.

For me, the most useful thing was all the insights to fasting from Dr. Berg.
