We had a great turn out tonight for our Community Open House. Thank you to Gary and Chris of Country Auto Sales for hosting.

People from the neighbourhood, from other North Shore neighbourhoods, the team from the Kamloops North Shore BIA, and business owners attended.

It was a great opportunity to share more about our development and hear some excellent feedback.

The Pulse on 8th is one step closer to becoming a reality.

Our proposed development looks to introduce two six-storey buildings with a mix of commercial and residential spaces including a total of 190 rental suites, 65 of these built as affordable suites for seniors. The request for a rezoning amendment was moved by Kamloops City Council on January 23, 2024 to go to public hearing.

We invite you to ask questions and share your comments and feedback on the project at our Community Open House: January 25 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Country Auto Sales at 1024 8th Street, Kamloops. Thank you to CBC Kamloops' Doug Herbert for helping us get information out about our proposed development and the community open house this Thursday.

Developers Sheila and Shaun Minten want to take advantage of the province's incentives to address the housing crisis by building two apartment buildings in an area of Kamloops that needs more affordable homes.

We are excited to share that The Pulse on 8th will be on Kamloops City Council’s agenda tomorrow, January 23, 2024. This is an opportunity for Council to learn about our request to rezone the parcel of land at 1006, 1014 and 1024 8th Street on Kamloops’ North Shore and move the proposed development forward to a Public Hearing, a pivotal step in bringing The Pulse on 8th to life.

It’s important that we provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about this development to ask their questions and share their insight. Since this project is on Kamloops’ North Shore with both a residential and commercial component, the more feedback and insight we get from community members will help the developer create a development that fits well into the neighbourhood to help revitalize spaces.
