At Ryandale, we are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of United Way Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington ❤️

From helping furnish two of our houses to sending energetic teams for the Day of Caring to help maintain our gardens, United Way plays an essential role in so many facets of our work. Their support also powers our volunteer program and helps keep our food delivery service running smoothly for those who rely on us.

Simply put. without United Way KFL&A, Ryandale could not operate in the way we do today.

Our group had the incredible experience of going on a guided forest therapy walk, practicing Shinrin-yoku (森林浴) — the Japanese art of "forest bathing."

It was absolute pure tranquility. There’s something truly magical about laying back on the forest floor, slowing down, and just watching the tree canopy sway above you. It was like nothing any of us had ever experienced before — a total reset for the mind and body. 💚

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Stanna for guiding us through such a beautiful and peaceful journey! 🍃🙏

33 years of unstoppable endurance.

Today we’re featuring Kevin. Who’s been walking this path since 1993. Over three decades in, Kevin is living proof of what long-haul strength really means. But this isn't a competition about who has the highest number; when one person in recovery wins, every single one of us can win too.

After experiencing a stroke, Kevin is channeling that same grit into advocating for others by raising support for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. His journey shows us that no matter what life throws your way, you can keep standing strong and giving back.

Kevin, thank you for leading the way and showing us all what lifelong resilience looks like. 🏆
