Sweet Moments at Ryandale: Making Dubai Chocolate Bars 🍫✨

The residents at Women’s House recently gathered in the kitchen for a fun afternoon of baking and treat-making, putting their own spin on the famous Dubai Chocolate Bar!

Hands-on activities like this bring warmth and connection to the house, giving everyone a chance to try something new, share a few laughs, and enjoy a sweet reward together.

Summer therapy was in full effect! ☀️🌊 Our residents headed to the beach for a summer day out! Swimming, plenty of puppy love 🐾, and sharing an amazing lunch. Most importantly, it was a chance to bring everyone together, catch up, and build meaningful connections. Here’s to community and good conversation!✨☀

A fantastic day of learning out in the community! 🏛️✨

Ryandale residents recently visited the Miller Museum of Geology at for a special guided session. We got an up-close look at different types of minerals, rocks and crystals while learning about the natural processes that shape our Earth.

We are grateful for opportunities to step out, explore our city’s local treasures, and keep learning together! 💙

We had an incredible turnout yesterday as residents gathered at Ryandale for an Effective Communication Workshop! Together, we explored what makes connecting with others easier, dove into the 7 C’s of communication, and shared insights on how our personal experiences shape the way we speak and listen.

Huge shoutout and massive thank-you to KEYS Employment & Newcomer Services, Peer Support South East Ontario, Queen's University, and Loyola School of Adult and Continuing Education for showing up to our Education Fair! 🎓🙌

Our residents learned so much about their pathways to secondary education through your institutions and discovered all the amazing resources available right here in the Kingston area. Community support like this makes all the difference!

What an incredible day of community connection! And an awesome initiative providing hepatitis testing, delicious food to those in need, great music from local musicians, and bringing together local outreach services. Kingston Community Health Centres put together a fantastic event supporting those in need.

We loved seeing so many friendly faces out there!

Ryandale is back in the kitchen! 🍳

This time, our very own "Chef Avneet" took the lead with an incredible chicken biryani recipe (and trust me, I can personally attest to how delicious it was 😏).

It was another fantastic experience, giving our residents and community members a chance to build confidence, learn new skills, and refine existing ones.

Huge thanks again to T and St. Vincent de Paul Society of Kingston for hosting this program in your amazing space! 🙌
