6 years ago today, I drove to Pritchard and picked up Raven.

I thought I was getting a dog.

What I actually got was a tiny bulldozer with absolutely no fear, questionable decision making skills, and a talent for finding things she definitely shouldn’t be eating.

Over the last 6 years, she’s been my hiking buddy, road trip companion, office assistant, couch hog, and best friend.

She’s been there through career highs, heartbreaks, celebrations, challenges, and every ordinary day in between.

Life has changed a lot since the day I brought her home, but one thing hasn’t. Coming home to her is still one of the best parts of my day.

Real estate doesn't always go according to plan.

The original goal was simple. Find the perfect acreage, then sell.

They found it. We got their home on the market. The response was incredible.

Then the purchase fell apart.

Suddenly, the pressure was on.

With their home sold and a very specific wish list in mind, we spent the next few weeks exploring acreages, driving back roads, touring properties, and waiting for the right one to come along.

And then it did.

5 private acres near Cascade Falls, a beautiful rancher, a shop, and the kind of peace and quiet that is getting harder and harder to find.

Sometimes the right home isn't the first one.

Sometimes it's the one worth waiting for.

Now they own here too.

One of the best parts of this job is watching first time buyers realize homeownership is actually possible for them. A lot of planning, patience, and the right timing led to this moment and now these two officially have a place to call their own at Hamptons Park 🏡
