My client had just gotten his offer accepted on a beautiful home in Duvernay (Laval) and I was calling to not only congratulate him but to tell him that the neighbour just listed at 100 000$ above what we were able to secure the house for him.

I grew up in Duvernay for the better part of 10 years and it’s an area that I really believe in.

I wish I had changed this sooner…

I used to get excited when a deal would go through. This meant I would also get bummed out if it didn’t.

That made every transaction an emotional roller coaster which at some point inevitably gets exhausting.

You can approach the transaction with the desire to win it over or with the fear of messing up and losing it. Or, you can choose option 3.

You can simply do your job because that’s what you do.

Nothing fancy. No grand goals. Just work for the sake of working.

Often you realize the best results comes from an unburdened mind.

We met these sellers a few weeks ago and they had already pretty much moved out of the house by that time. So when we took over the mandate we conducted 3 open houses back to back. These open houses generated 3 offers and eventually led to the sale of this canadian style property.
lirette orchestrated the transaction and brought this home it’s new buyers.
