I don’t think it’s an accident that the Bible says fear not 365 times (once for each day of the year)
When I started my company, I felt a strong push from God to take a leap of faith. What I wasn’t prepared for was the pressure that comes with running a business while also trying to be the husband and father my family needs.
Making sure my family is taken care of emonally. Making sure my employees have work. Keeping the business stable. Carrying decisions that affect more than just me. And sometime I do fail and fall short.
I love what I do, but I’d be lying if I said fear never creeps in.
That’s when I have to lean on my faith.
I think about the apostle Paul a lot, even through prison, beatings, suffering, and even while waiting to be put to death! he kept his joy and kept doing what God called him to do.
That’s what I’m trying to learn and replicate.
Not to let business, money or circumstances control my joy, but to trust God whether things are going good or bad.
“Fear not, for I am with you.”
Sometimes that’s all I need to keep going.
