Montreal Real Estate Market Update - September 2026 🏡🇨🇦

The average home sold price was $683,074 in September 2026, 0.9% higher than a year earlier and 1.0% below August’s home price. 💰

Key highlights 🔑:

1️⃣ Montreal home sales fell 12.4% year-over-year to 3,082 in September 2026, while new listings rose 5.0% to 7,494 over the same period.

2️⃣ The sales-to-new-listings ratio fell to 41% from 49% in August, and months of supply stood at 7.1.

Price trends across property types 📈:

🏠 Single-family homes: Median price increased by 0.4% year-over-year to $635K.

🏢 Condos: Median price remained unchanged year-over-year at $430K.

🏘️ Plexes: Median price increased by 2.6% year-over-year to $861K.
