Seriously. 😄

Back in 2005, I discovered the world of home staging and instantly fell in love with the idea that a few smart changes could completely transform a home.

That passion led me to build one of Montreal's leading home staging companies, and over the years, my husband (who just happens to be a contractor 👷‍♂️) and I have bought, renovated, and transformed more than 15 homes of our own.

Today, as a Residential Real Estate Broker, I use that experience to help buyers see potential beyond the paint colours and décor, and sellers maximize the value of what is often their biggest investment.

And yes... I still can't walk into a house without mentally rearranging the furniture or planning a renovation. 🤭

🚨 This home inspection saved my client from making one of the biggest financial mistakes of her life.

She had fallen in love with a charming older home in Vieux-Longueuil.

It had character, potential, and everything she was looking for. Like many buyers, she had already started imagining how she would renovate it and make it her own.

Then we brought in one of my trusted home inspectors.

What looked like a solid home during our visits turned out to have far more issues than anyone expected. The inspection uncovered several major concerns, including an aging electrical system throughout the house, and it became clear that some important information in the Seller's Declaration didn't accurately reflect the home's condition.

Did my client spend money on the inspection?

Yes.

Was it worth every penny?

Absolutely.

That inspection gave her something far more valuable than a report—it gave her the confidence to walk away before making a very expensive mistake.

People often ask why I insist on a home inspection.

This is why.

And my job doesn't end when the inspector leaves.

When that report lands in my inbox—sometimes 60+ pages long—I read it carefully with my clients. Together, we separate normal maintenance items from true red flags so they can make informed decisions with confidence.
