Hi everyone. This beautiful post was shared by my dear friend, .plesnar , reflecting on her memories from her time in Nouroz 2015 Iran. I am reposting it with her kind permission.
Dear Joanna, we created wonderful memories together, and I sincerely appreciate your invitation to visit your beautiful country Poland 🇵🇱.
Both of our countries have, throughout history, been victims of war and the ambitions of various dictators.
I hope that one day, lasting peace and kindness will spread across the world.
Looking forward to seeing you again: This post was published with a reference to Iran returning to the Stone Age, and part of it has been shortened to increase potential views. Dear friends,
Before I share my wishes, I’d like to say a few words about Iran .
When we planned our trip to Iran in 2015, many people asked:
“Are you not afraid?”
“With a child?”
We chose to see it with our own eyes.
From the moment we arrived in Tehran, we were welcomed with genuine kindness by complete strangers.
We traveled through Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, and down to the Persian Gulf—and what we found was not fear, but warmth, culture, and humanity.
People were incredibly kind, especially to our child—playing with him, making him laugh, treating him with real affection.
We felt safe. We felt cared for.
Places like Persepolis reminded us of a civilization that has given so much to the world.
This journey gave us more than memories—it gave us perspective, friendships, and a deeper understanding beyond stereotypes.
Wishing you peace and goodness.
