🇨🇦 Happy Canada Day! ❤️🤍

Every Canada Day reminds me just how fortunate we are to call this country home.

Growing up in the beautiful flatlands of Saskatchewan meant endless skies, unforgettable sunsets, golden rolling farm fields, and some of the best storm watching you’ll ever experience.

Life eventually brought us to Port Alberni on Vancouver Island—a place known as the City of Rainbows. Here, we’re surrounded by mountains, towering forests, the Alberni Inlet, incredible fishing, and endless opportunities to get outside and explore.

As if this place couldn’t amaze us any more, our ferry ride to the mainland the other day came with an unforgettable surprise… a pod of grey whales putting on a show. Moments like these remind me that Canada’s beauty isn’t just found in the places we live—it’s in the experiences that take our breath away.

Happy Canada Day to everyone celebrating today! I hope you get outside, soak in the beauty around you, and appreciate this incredible country we get to call home. 🍁

🏡 Congratulations to my buyers, Joseph and Sheila, on the purchase of their new home in Port Alberni! 🎉

What makes this purchase even more remarkable is that they submitted an offer sight unseen, putting their trust in the process as they prepared for the next exciting chapter of their lives-retirement.

This wasn’t the first home they offered on, but sometimes things work out exactly as they’re meant to. Looking back, the universe definitely had a better plan in store. The home they initially pursued would have required a significant amount of work, while this one is a much better fit for the lifestyle they’re looking forward to enjoying.
