Well the ice should be off the big lakes by the end of the week. Lake Muskoka water levels seemed to have peaked and we are hoping that they will start to recede shortly so people on islands will be able to get to their properties. Water is flowing as fast it can out through the Bala Falls.

The larger lakes are just now starting to freeze over. Still not the time to get the sleds on the ice just yet. Be patient, it will come.
