Hi everyone! Has anyone noticed any recent changes with Facebook Marketplace? For some reason, several of my old real estate listings and past open houses are suddenly being promoted again, even though they’re no longer current. I’m wondering if this is a Marketplace glitch/update or if there’s a possibility my account has been compromised. Has anyone else experienced this or know what’s going on? Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Across Bruce County, we continue to see noticeable differences in pricing and market activity from one community to another.

A few July highlights:

40 homes sold | Average sale price $698,793
House benchmark price: $734,400 ↑ 3.00%

🏠 Kincardine
18 homes sold | Average sale price $582,222
House benchmark price: $659,400 ↑ 2.65%

🏠 Northern Bruce Peninsula
11 homes sold | Average sale price $639,091
House benchmark price: $618,100 ↑ 1.54%

🏠 Huron-Kinloss
12 homes sold | Average sale price $795,292
House benchmark price: $662,500 ↑ 0.68%

What I find most interesting is the variation between communities. A “Bruce County average” only tells part of the story. Your neighbourhood, property type and price point matter.

Life Is Short… Take the Ride. 🚙☀️

Real estate keeps me busy, but every now and then it’s important to step away, enjoy the sunshine, and make time for the things you love.

Yesterday, Rodney and I took our dune buggy for a cruise through Southampton and drove past the local car show. It was another reminder of what makes this community so special—great people, local events, and the simple joy of being out and about.

I believe getting involved in the community isn’t just part of being a REALTOR®—it’s one of the best parts of living here.

P.S. For those wondering, yes, our dune buggy is fully licensed, safety certified, insured, and road legal in Ontario.
