🏡 September 2026 Housing Market Update | Northumberland County

The Central Lakes Association of REALTORS® (CLAR) has released its September 2026 Housing Market Reports, with 1,062 home sales recorded across the six CLAR Regions.

In Northumberland County, September brought 118 home sales, unchanged from August. The average selling price was $635,163, down from both the previous month and September 2025.

📊 September highlights:
- 118 home sales
- $635,163 average sale price
- 358 new listings
- 796 active listings
- Active listings were up 3.6% year-over-year
- Homes took an average of 60 days to sell

“Sales activity is slowing as we enter the fall market, however, we continue to see fluctuations in price trends across the CLAR Region based on location,” said CLAR President Christine Riley.

The takeaway? Real estate remains highly local. Market conditions can vary significantly from one community to the next, making local knowledge especially valuable for buyers and sellers navigating today’s market.
