My goal was to have potential home buyers walk through the door and not only appreciate this clean look but also to help picture their own furniture in the space.

Mint Green 🍈

When I walked into this room, the mint green walls stood out to me immediately. It is not a colour I would personally of chose, but wow did I ever like it.

I actually have a mint green headboard that is SO gorgeous and when do I get to use it? Never. So I was extatic to picture it in this room.

This space was being used as a spare room/kids hang-out zone. Once everything was removed, I realized there is no way I could use my stunning headboard. There are windows from wall to wall. What you DO NOT want to do, is block natural light.

Natural sunlight brightens spaces,
helps us to focus, enables us to get more done, and even makes us happier.

So when you are deciding on how to decorate a room with an abundance of windows, work around them and take advantage of all that natural light ☀️

Welcome Home 🪴

The entry way is the first impression of your home, the introduction to your story.

I personally love to use a light and bright pallet. Using cool colours adds a crisp and airy feel to your space. I am also a minimalist (most of the time) so having less clutter, gives me a feel of cleanliness (if that makes sense 🤓)

When I first laid eyes on my clients dining room, I had butterflies in my stomach🤭

All I could see is possibilities.

It took us two days to add this custom wainscotting. I replaced the builders light fixture with this stunning beaded chandelier to match the deep grey tone in the walls.

I incorporated off-white curtains that cascade from the ceiling to the floor

Finally setting up a formal dining table with black accent plates, runner and napkins.

Once we listed this property on MLS for sale, the positive feedback on this dining room was over whelming.

I love the elegant simplicity that this front porch boasts. The pops of greens and pinks from the flowers, the detail in the front door and the farmhouse light fixtures go perfectly together.

Now depending on the season, a simple wreath would really sharpen up the look of this front porch 😘

Why do I love using the colour white? Wait, why am I obsessed with using the colour white? 🤍🌿

White is one of the most versatile shades in all of design - it instantly brightens while evoking a sense of calm and clean. 🤍🌿

Incorporating pops of my favourite colours (which constantly change) 🤭 helps to add character to a room, much like dressing up an outfit by adding a hat or belt. 🤍🌿

My love for a neutral palette is a love like no other. Neutral does not have to be boring 🌿

A key benefit of neutral colours is that they are timeless. These tones are proven to get more positive feedback from potential buyers and you can dress up or dress down a neutral space effortlessly.

Thank you to my clients for letting me invade your space. We went from a very warm colour scheme to a world of neutrals 🪴
