The sad truth behind getting older is we lose our loved ones around us. As I know your in a better place uncle Mark my heart is still heavy. You were one of the hardest workers I've ever known, you lived your way on your terms and I always Admired that about you. I always felt a deep connection with you as we both wear our heart on our sleeve, We were cut from the same cloth and I will always have you with me. You made a huge impact in the people You chose to have around you, and for that I thank you for everything You have taught me and I get to pass it along to the next line of cooks. Till we meet again uncle Mark love ya

Today I've lost my last living grandparent. It's a hard pill to swallow knowing that all good things come to a end. And seeing this picture with my grandfather that we lost over 20 years ago really hit home. Family is forever and everything. We won't get through this life being perfect, but we will get through it together. Rest easy nanny and give that old bastard a hug for me. Xoxo
