📍 Property Spotlight - 139 Water Street

Acquired in 2024 by Howard Properties, this twelve-story office tower is located in the downtown core business district of St. John's. This investment marks a significant step in our commitment to the growth and revitalization of the downtown area. In spring 2025, our team engaged architects, engineers, and city officials to explore how we can best restore and repurpose this important piece of St. John's. We look forward to sharing these plans soon.

Formerly known as the Royal Trust Building and Fortis Building, it was completed in 1969 and designed by Barlow & Associates. The tower has signature elements of Modernist design, including striking vertical lines and basic shapes.
