Please be sure to respect any trail closures and avoid recreational activities near high streamflow rivers or streams.

Localized flooding can be reported through the City of Chilliwack app or by calling their Operations department at 604.793.2810.

Stay safe and dry everyone! Be sure to call and/or check in on the elderly or people that live on their own if you can.

☘️ A few St. Patrick’s Day surprises…

• Ireland’s patron saint wasn’t Irish
• Some of the earliest celebrations happened in North America
• The original color associated with St. Patrick was blue
• Ireland likely never had native snakes
• March 17 marks the day St. Patrick is believed to have died

One of the most remarkable parts of St. Patrick’s story is that he first came to Ireland as an enslaved teenager — and later chose to return to serve the people there. Sometimes the most enduring stories are the ones about hardship, forgiveness, and choosing to do good anyway….🍀🍀🍀

History has a way of making traditions even more meaningful.

-Vedder Road between Manuel Road and Stevenson Road
-Nixon Road and Allan Road
-Castleman Road and Chapman Road
-Patterson Road south of Prairie Central Road
-Larson Road
-Camp River Road between Chapman Road and Standeven Road
