Home prices and new listings in the GTA increased significantly month over month, though remain down year over year from the ridiculous Feb 2022 peak.

Another interest rate increase announced today.

While buyer activity as slowed down from the market frenzy in Jan-Feb of this year, new listings were at a 20 year low in September, causing prices to remain relatively stable since July.

The Bank of Canada raised interest rates once again as part of their strategy to counter high inflation. This is the 2nd time interest rates rose by 0.5% this year.

The real estate market in Toronto has slowed in response to the higher cost of borrowing, bringing less competition for buyers in today’s market.

More rate increases were hinted to come later in the year.

Always get professional photos taken of your listings. I always cover its cost, even for leases, because optimizing the visuals of how your home looks online leads to greater demand from buyers. Greater demand from buyers leads to a smooth, successful sale💥💸

Also one of my pet peeves is when agents use listing photos that were clearly taken from their phone lol they need to be banned smh 🤦🏻‍♂️
