What does living in Tatamagouche actually feel like?
I think that matters just as much as what houses cost.
Tata has a slower pace without feeling completely disconnected. There’s a real village centre, familiar faces, local businesses, beautiful rural areas surrounding you and the Northumberland Shore right there to enjoy.
But rural Nova Scotia living is different from living in Halifax or another larger centre, and I think buyers deserve the whole picture before deciding if it’s right for them.
That’s part of what I’m going to share through TATA Tuesday.
Not just “look how pretty this is.”

Okay, this is not a bragging post… but I am going to let myself be proud for a minute. 💁‍♀️❤️

Based on Nova Scotia Association of REALTORS® MLS® sales data, I represented the seller in the highest priced residential MLS® sale within my defined Parrsboro area search in 2025, plus another sale that ranked among the top ten that year.

And now, in 2026, I have once again represented a seller in the highest priced residential MLS® sale recorded within that same search area as of September 14, 2026. 🥹

Truthfully, I am sharing this because I am proud. Proud of the results, absolutely, but even more proud to represent properties and people in a community I genuinely love.

Parrsboro and the surrounding shore are incredibly special. The views, the people, the history, the potential… I will happily talk about this area until someone politely asks me to stop. 😂
