South-facing rooms receive plenty of warm, natural light throughout the day, making colors appear warmer and brighter than they would in other orientations. To balance this effect, it's best to choose cooler neutrals, soft whites, or muted tones to prevent an overly warm or washed-out look.
Avoid overly warm colors like strong yellows and reds, as the natural light will intensify them, and always test paint samples on different walls to see how they shift throughout the day.
