This Weeks BEFORE & AFTER
This North Vancouver client really wanted to use their existing caramel sectional when we staged their home for selling, but the configuration wasn't working, making the living room feel small and cutting the dining room off completely. Facing the sofa towards the fireplace (the rooms natural focal point), allowed room for an occasional chair and a lovely big dining table!

Always fun to get creative when staging a "flex space"! This small room was located at the top of the stairs of a two story townhouse, between all of the bedrooms. Viewing it empty, buyers might be confused as to how they could use this space, but after staging it as a craft room, it's easy to imagine how this space might come in handy! Who wouldn't get inspired hanging out here?!

This client had always hated the red striped walls in her guest bedroom, but had lived with it for two years because she didn't think she could work with it, and had never gotten around to painting it. When there is a strong colour on the walls, it is always best to neutralize with white. This will also brighten the space, which is great for when you are selling your home! Tweak brought in white and grey bedding, and white lamps (more light!). By removing the desk and chair, we were able to free up space for a second nightstand, which helped the room feel more balanced. Our client couldn't believe what a difference a few small changes made - no paintbrush required!

Despite the snow on Monday, we reached our destination and staged this lovely 4 bedroom town home in North Vancouver.
By adding artwork and accessories to our client's own furnishings, this home is now ready to sell!

Rooms that do "double duty" are great this time of year when friends and family come to visit for the holidays!

It's also a great way to show use of space when selling your home. That's why the realtor of this listing requested that Tweak stage the spare room as both an office and guest bedroom.

With the "wildlife themed" home decor accents still going strong, we featured the reindeer artwork over the bed, and the birch trees opposite.
