You can tell it was a mall commissioned pre-2020, and launched in today's economy.

All fashion brands. Gone are the days of old Oakridge with Zellers, whitespot, kids play zone, and the Chinese bakery.

As for design, it reminds me of Richmond centre with the higher ceilings and wider halls of Tsawwassen Mills. The lighting was poor and has many tucked away hallways so I anticipate a bunch of dead spots and empty shops like Aberdeen mall. The food court was kinda dark and built like the one at Brentwood mall.

The dangers of RADON!☢️💀
Yes my editing style is outdated 👴but this PSA is important!

Most people in Vancouver have heard of mold or asbestos… but very few talk about RADON.

Radon is a colourless, odourless radioactive gas that comes from the soil beneath homes. You can’t see it. You can’t smell it. But long-term exposure can increase your risk of lung cancer.

☢️ Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers
☢️ About 16% of lung cancer deaths in Canada are linked to indoor radon exposure 😱

A map from The BC Centre for Disease Control shows that while only 1% of homes in Coastal BC have high levels of Radon, it is 4% of homes in the Fraser Valley, 22% of homes in Northern BC and a shocking 33% of homes in the interior!

✔️ New homes can have radon
✔️ Older homes can have radon
✔️ Basements and garden suites can be especially vulnerable

The ONLY way to know is to test.

Health Canada recommends action if levels are above 200 Bq/m³, and test kits are relatively inexpensive and easy to use.

As a realtor, I believe informed homeowners make better decisions; not just financially, but for their health too.
