It's Thanksgiving weekend! The mountain bikers are enjoying the last few days of the Bike Park before it closes for the year. We are soaking up the sunny evening walks with our dog Max. Annual shoppers and weekend warriors are arriving back in town as they hit up the Turkey sale and prepare for ski season.

Looking at the Whistler real estate market, there is definitely a surge in activity. Offers are being submitted, transactions are being negotiated and there is an increase in the number of new listings entering the market.

Exciting times this week in Whistler as we welcome the world once again; this time for our the very first UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup!

Creekside is full of all the bike brands with teams, athletes and fans flying in from all over the world. The Dave Murray Downhill flats are transformed from ski race days to now the bike race finishing at the bottom of the 1199 trail in Whistler Mountain Bike Park.

It's going to be a legendary weekend. Be sure to plan ahead and decide where you will spectate from and how to get there!

Good luck to all of the racers. We can't wait to cheer on our local athletes Finn Iles , Jackson Goldstone, Gracey Hemstreet as well as Jake and Dane Jewett!
