A common question we receive after an inspection is whether we know of contractors or tradespeople who may be able to assist our clients.
Referrals can be tricky. We always want to remain impartial while also recognizing how stressful buying a home can be, especially when trying to find reliable contractors while settling into your new home. A poor experience with a referral can also reflect negatively on us, which is why we aim to be mindful of who we refer.
We maintain a trades listing of companies and contractors we’ve either used personally or consistently heard positive feedback about within the communities we service. From time to time, we update this list by adding and removing trades based on feedback and experiences. For example, we recently removed an arborist who initially came highly recommended, but after a mixed personal experience and repeated issues with responsiveness reported by others, we no longer felt comfortable listing them.

P.S. If you know of great local companies, feel free to reach out — we’re always looking to provide our clients with more options and resources.
Just so you know: we are not affiliated with any of the companies listed and do not receive referral fees or compensation for including them.
