Another great night at the Woodstock Real Estate Investors Meetup!
A big thank you to everyone who came out for another evening of learning, networking, and adding value to one another.
A special thank you to Shawn Quigg, a real estate investor-focused lawyer, for joining us as our guest speaker. ⚖️
We had some great discussions around:
🔹 Title laws and what real estate investors need to understand
🔹 Corporate compliance and the importance of filing your annual corporate returns so you don’t put your corporation at risk of being dissolved
🔹 International trade, farming, and tariffs and the impact current trade policies are having on Canadian businesses and agriculture
But as always, the education is only part of what makes these meetups valuable.
Real estate is a relationship business.
The people sitting around the table can be just as valuable as the information being shared. You never know who you might meet, what experience someone can share, or what opportunity can come from simply having a conversation.
And our goal isn’t just to ask:
“What can I get?”
It’s to ask:
“What can I bring to the table?”
When we focus on adding value to others, building relationships, and helping each other grow, everyone benefits.
