Hi Oxford County!I guess it’s about time I introduced myself properly.
My name is Chamanpreet Kaur Malhi—but let’s be honest, that’s a bit of a mouthful. You can just call me Chaman! I was born and raised in a small town in Punjab, India, and came to Canada in 2016 as an international student. Fast forward a few years, I’m now a proud Canadian citizen—something that fills me with immense gratitude every single day.
I originally studied Early Childhood Education, and I’m a registered Early Childhood Educator alongside being a real estate agent for the past three years. My journey into real estate started with my own curiosity (and confusion!) as a first-time home buyer. I had a million questions and no one to answer them clearly. That experience sparked something in me—and here I am, helping others navigate what can be an overwhelming process.
Beyond real estate, I’m a neat freak with a deep appreciation for organized spaces. I could happily tour homes just to admire their layouts and how things are arranged. Nature is my therapy: long walks by the water, soaking in the sunshine, and simply listening to the sounds of the water keep me grounded.
I’m a huge believer in giving, kindness, and the idea that what you put out into the world eventually finds its way back to you. I love cooking, although I’m still trying to figure out if cooking loves me back (the jury’s still out). Feeding people—family, friends, or even strangers—brings me joy.
My friends would say I make a legendary Chai tea, and I hold that title proudly. Speaking of friends, I’ve been lucky to find two amazing souls here in Canada who have helped me become the strongest version of myself. I also enjoy working out, yoga, and swear by the magical trio: good food, good sleep, and good movement.
Most importantly, my dream is to take my mom around the world. I left home at 17 and have spent almost 9 years away from her. Now, it’s time to make up for that lost time.
So—if you’re a first-time home buyer, overwhelmed and not sure where to begin, let’s chat. I’ve been where you are, and I’d love to help you find your way home.
