Wana wa Eyole na Ndolo Youth Group Pays Courtesy Visit to Paramount Chief of Limbe

Limbe, Cameroon April 6, 2026

The Wana wa Eyole na Ndolo group of Limbe, a dynamic association of youths of Fako origin, on April 6th paid a courtesy visit to the Paramount Chief of Limbe, His Royal Majesty Ikanea John Elufa Manga Williams.

The visit served as a gesture of appreciation for the impactful initiatives spearheaded by the Palace, particularly the organization of holiday classes aimed at empowering and educating young people within the community. The group expressed that these initiatives have inspired them to formally identify with and support the vision and activities of the Palace.

Speaking during the visit, a representative of the group noted:

“We are deeply inspired by the commitment of the Palace to youth development. The holiday classes and community driven initiatives reflect a vision we strongly believe in, and we are proud to align ourselves with it.”

His Royal Majesty warmly received the delegation in the presence of members of his traditional council and various quarter heads. In his remarks, the Paramount Chief emphasized the importance of unity, cultural identity, and active youth participation in building a stronger and more progressive Limbe.

“The strength of our community lies in our unity and the involvement of our youth. I commend this initiative and encourage more young people to take part in preserving our heritage and contributing to development,” he stated.

The visit concluded with a renewed commitment from the Wana wa Eyole na Ndolo group to actively support community initiatives and promote the values and traditions of the Fako people.

LYSOKA IS COMING BACK

At the foot of the mighty Fako Mountain, where the morning mist gently kisses the earth and the soil is rich with life, lies the village of Lysoka—a land of strength, culture, and enduring pride. Surrounded by neighboring villages and bound together by shared traditions, Lysoka has long stood as one of the pioneer communities in Fako, a place where history breathes through every path and every tree.

In the heart of this village stands Lysoka Presbyterian Primary School—a symbol of hope, discipline, and transformation.

Founded by the Presbyterian missionaries many years ago, the school was more than just a place of learning. It was a foundation—a molding ground where young minds were shaped into leaders, thinkers, and visionaries. From its humble classrooms, generations of students emerged, rising to the top across Cameroon—doctors, teachers, leaders, and changemakers who carried the name of Lysoka with pride.

Every morning, the sound of children reciting lessons blended with the distant rhythm of farm tools striking the earth. Lysoka was a village of farmers—hardworking men and women who understood that while the land feeds the body, education feeds the future.

Under the shade of mango trees, children once sat with wooden boards in hand, dreaming beyond the hills of Fako. Their uniforms—blue shirts, blue gowns, and khaki shorts—became symbols of identity, unity, and purpose.

But like many great stories, there came a time when the light dimmed.

The echoes of excellence grew faint. The classrooms aged. The energy that once defined Lysoka began to slow. Yet, deep within the soul of the village, the fire never died.

Today, that fire is rising again.

A new generation is awakening. The voices of the past are calling for revival. Parents, leaders, and visionaries are coming together with one mission—to restore Lysoka to its rightful place.

To rebuild.
To inspire.
To rise again.

Because Lysoka is not just a village—it is a legacy.

And as the sun rises once more over Mount Fako, illuminating the school grounds where children gather again in hope and unity, one truth becomes clear:

Lysoka is coming back.
