We are honored to announce Mr Li Yongzheng & Mr Xu Jinfei as the guest speaker for Asia Conference on Design and Application of Architectural Facade (Shanghai) (DAF), sharing Urban Renewal Project--Dalian 37 Xiang.

Li Yongzheng is the founding partner and lead architect of UUA, with overall responsibility for the studio's design and project quality control. He graduated from Bartlett, UCL and formerly worked at Foster and Partners in London, where he was involved in the design of Apple Park in California. Yongzheng holds ARB/RIBA in the UK and was recognized as one of Asia's top 40 young professionals in the Architecture and Interior Design industry by PERSPECTIVE in 2022. He has also been invited to serve as a judge for the 2023 and 2024 Architizer A+Awards.

Xu Jinfei, Deputy Chief Engineer and Project Manager of Shanghai Hanart Facade Specialist Co.,Ltd, a first-class construction engineer, a senior engineer of Shanghai construction engineering, graduated from Nanjing University of Technology in 2006, majoring in civil engineering, has 18 years of experience in curtain wall design and construction, and has profound professional experience in the design and construction of large-scale frame curtain walls.

We are honored to announce Mr David Yang as the guest speaker for Asia Conference on Design and Application of Architectural Facade (Shanghai) (DAF).

David studied architecture at Bartlett School of Architecture in University College London and urban planning at the Harbin Institute of Technology in China, graduating with honours in 2005. During his academic studies, he concentrated on design and computation, with a particular interest in how generative design tools could be applied on urban design and masterplans to generate innovative design solutions, and have since made great advances in practical applications.
As a Partner of Foster + Partners in China, David is based in our Shanghai office. He has worked at the practice for 19 years. His major projects include the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 home stadium located in Lusail, the Ilham Tower in Kuala Lumpur, Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong and Haramain High-Speed Railway in Saudi Arabia amongst others. Recently, he worked on a series of high-profile flagship stores for Apple in various locations globally, and implemented numerous architectural and planning practices and enhancements throughout China.

We are honored to announce Mr. Sean Ragasa as the guest speaker for Asia Conference on Design and Application of Architectural Facade (Shanghai) (DAF), share Urban Renewal Project - Shanghai South Bund Financial Centre.

Across geographic regions and typologies, Sean Ragasa creates architecture that is purposeful, intelligent, and, in subtle ways, delightful. His design approach is rigorous, often leveraging expertise across many disciplines to conscientiously respond to the environmental and social conditions of a site. With agile design sensibilities, Sean is known for delivering complex and significant projects elegantly.
Harmonizing the architectureā€™s visual identity with sustainability measures is an important part of Seanā€™s work. When designing a low-carbon community forJiuzhou Bay, he integrated allusions to local mythology with neighborhood-scale passive cooling strategies. Similarly, the passive air and water filtration systems in the Ningbo Guohua Financial Tower are integrated with traditional local design concepts around porosity, procession, and the relationship to water. As a lead designer in the master planning effort for the University of California Mercedā€™s 2020 Campus Expansion, Sean drew references from the agrarian building styles of Californiaā€™s Central Valley to create a cohesive campus identity. The project led UC Merced to be the first public university to achieve carbon neutrality, and it is the largest social infrastructure project achieved through a public-private partnership in U.S. history.

We are excited to announce Mr. Gu Cong as the guest speaker for Asia Conference on Design and Application of Architectural Facade (Shanghai) (DAF).

Gu Cong graduated from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 1997, majored in mechatronics. He started his career as a faƧade designer. With more than 20 yearsā€™ experience in faƧade industry. Along with his career development, Gu gained full scale of knowledge of facade from concept design stage to construction stage, including detailed faƧade design of various systems, material and cost analysis, faƧade performance and project management and etc. In terms of consultancy service, Gu is able to provide comprehensive consultancy to the client and architect. He also is a member of Shanghai curtain wall committee working on Shanghai local curtain wall codes compiling work.

We are honored to announce Cedric Tang as the guest speaker for Asia Conference on Design and Application of Architectural Facade (Shanghai) (DAF).

Cedric Tang, Hong Kong registered architect, member of Hong Kong Architects Association, Director of Farrells.He is currently a director of Farrells and is also the principal of the firm's Mainland of China practice, as well as a board member of the china engineering and consulting association Rail Transit Branch. Mr. Tang has more than 20 years of experience in urban cores and high-density spaces, and has been involved in the design of complex projects in key locations in first-tier cities in many Asian countries, with particular expertise in the architectural design and planning of supertall towers, TOD and integrated station-city developments, and waterfront landmarks.
Mr. Tang has participated in or led projects including Hong Kong Kowloon Station Comprehensive Development, Hong Kong West Kowloon Cultural District Master Plan and Urban Design, Hong Kong M+ Visual Culture Museum, Shenzhen Kingkey 100, Shenzhen OneExcellence, Beijing City Subcenter Station Comprehensive Transportation Hub Integration Design, Beijing Chaoyang CBD Urban Design and Landmark Architectural Design (China Zun), Beijing Capital Steel Urban Renewal Planning and Beijing Shougang Park Urban Renewal Planning and Core Area Architectural Design, Shanghai Pudong Shipyard Urban Design (Lujiazui Central Financial District(Phaseā…”)), Xiamen Winland Financial Center, Vattanac Capital Tower, etc.
