VIDA is hiring!

We’re growing and looking for talented designers to join our team. If you’re curious about the world around you, are artistic, collaborative, technically minded, and have a genuine love for the outdoors, we’d love to hear from you. This is a full-time position based in our studio in Escazú, Costa Rica with opportunities to work on projects in Mexico.

The ideal candidate will:

- Have a BLA/MLA and 3+ years of experience
- Have strong hand-drawing and 3D modelling skills
- Be motivated, curious and detail-oriented
- Can think creatively while keeping an eye on the details
- Experience working with ArchiCad, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Land F/X, Adobe Suite & Procreate
- Fluency in English is a must, Spanish is preferred.

Rising above the forest floor, this elevated boardwalk in the Osa Peninsula brings guests into the canopy to experience the forest from a different perspective. Constructed from local sustainable hardwood, it creates a low-impact path through one of the world’s most biodiverse landscapes.

When we design with nature, the result is a sense of ethereal beauty, where spaces feel timeless, as though they’ve always belonged. The playful planting of Xiphidium finds its way through the crevices in the stone, just as nature intended.

When a landmark hotel in Puerto Vallarta came to market, VIDA was engaged to reimagine its next chapter. At the heart of the intervention was the main pool, introducing a peninsula shape that reorients the entire site toward the iconic ocean views. Given the scale of the pool, palms were strategically integrated to introduce shade, enhancing comfort and transforming the guest experience at the Marriott Puerto Vallarta. Marriott Puerto Vallarta
