We've made a small update on the second floor of Villa Nadezda — a cozy office corner is now here, perfect for those who like to combine a holiday with a bit of work.

On the balcony, we've added a small table and chairs — an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine in hand. 🍷

We recently gave the house a small renovation — refreshed the interior, added more coziness, and hung hand-painted artwork on the walls.

Each painting was created by the villa's hostess — a small piece of Cyprus, painted with love for the island. These paintings can be purchased directly from us — a unique souvenir from Cyprus that will stay with you for years. Price: €50 per painting.

Cyprus — A Food Lover's Paradise 🐙🍋

If you love Mediterranean cuisine, Cyprus will win you over from the very first dinner. Fresh seafood, grilled trout, homemade mezze — here, food becomes part of the holiday, not just a way to fill up.

The photos show dishes we've happily enjoyed ourselves more than once: whole grilled trout, a mezze spread with olives, taramasalata (a creamy fish roe dip) and homemade sides, alongside a glass of local white wine. Next to it, a generous seafood platter — octopus, calamari, shrimp, fresh fish with crispy chips and vegetables. And mussels in a light, creamy garlic sauce — a dish they truly know how to make well here.

Cypriot cuisine is all about freshness, simplicity, and the true taste of the sea. 🌊

The Shipwreck of Peyia 🚢

On the road from Paphos towards Coral Bay, an old rusty ship lies on the rocks — one of the most famous landmarks in the area.

This is the EDRO III. Back in December 2011, a strong storm hit while it was at sea, the crew lost control, and the ship was pushed straight onto the rocks. All nine sailors were rescued by helicopter — nobody was hurt.

The ship was never removed afterwards: the water is too shallow, the rocks too rugged, and the whole operation turned out too difficult and too costly. So it has stayed here ever since.

Today it's one of the most beautiful and photogenic spots in Cyprus, especially at sunset. Well worth seeing with your own eyes. 🌅

Pachyammos Beach 🌊

One of the lovely municipal beaches nearby — a rocky little bay with crystal-clear water, a stretch of sand, and true Cypriot charm. Right next to it, a hotel with beautifully kept gardens, while sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach itself come at a modest price.

A great spot to spend a day by the sea without going far. 🌴
